Now I don't want to look like a fool but I got a stage 4 93 TT 300zx and this fool in my auto shop is talking smack saying how "The Z got his balls robbed from the bigger brother Skyline", "It's just a fat heavy beast with wannabe lambo lights" and that "Not a Supra, like a MR2 not like a RX7, both over shadowed my superior cars that are in the same class.". I told him yea right and told him about that Las Vegas event where the japanese tuner tuned a 300zx, proved you don't need over 100,000 dollar super car to go over 200mph and that this car just cost more money to fix up... he then went on about how the 300zx isn't in the mainstream like Fast & Furious (he hates the movie, just trying to prove a point) and games like Need for Speed because the car really isn't great compared to other cars in the same class (Supra, Skyline, Sylvias). Also said it's not in the drift craze because it is a fat oversteering unblanced sports. Now I wanted to beat this guys ass but then he said he wants to run me. He said he'll beat me with his 95 hatchback civic that supposbly has 205hp (with a simple motor swap) at the wheels all motor that runs high 11's. I was wondering if my stage 3 tubo can beat him! He wants to run in one of those legal events (so no danger to the public) next weekend and I'll said I'll think about. Is it true those cheap ass civics can run the quarter fast? Is the screaming vtec more than my Z can beat? I know I will kill him on the freeway but quarter miles and street is where it seems to matter to most to a lot including me...
